Can an AI call someone and pass on a message for me?
Yes. Write the message and who it's for. Phone Bud calls as your assistant, delivers the message, and notes any reply. If nobody answers, it leaves a voicemail.
Make a free callExamples
- Calling your manager to say you're out sick.
- Thanking a teacher or a coach.
- Telling a friend you're running late.
- Following up on a job application.
What to include in your request
Who you're calling, their number, the message in your own words, and your name. If you want a reply, say what to ask. Include your own number if they should call you back, since calls come from a Phone Bud number.
What you get back
A summary of what was said, any reply, and the full transcript. If it reached voicemail, the summary says so.
Limits
It speaks for you but never claims to be you. Only call people you have a reason to contact. See the acceptable use policy.

FAQ
Does it say it's an AI?
It introduces itself as your assistant. If anyone asks, it says it's an AI. It never claims to be you or a person.
What if they don't pick up?
It leaves a short voicemail with your message. You can set it to hang up without leaving one.
Can it use my voice?
If you clone your own voice in the app, it can call with that voice. It still introduces itself as your assistant, says it's an AI if asked, and never claims to be you.
What does it cost?
Your first call is free, up to 5 minutes. After that it's CA$8 for 15 minutes, CA$20 for 60 minutes or CA$80 for 300 minutes, billed by the second, with no subscription.
