Can an AI call to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes. Give Phone Bud the office's number, your name, the current appointment, and the times that work for you. It calls as your assistant, asks to cancel or move the appointment, reads back any new time, and sends you the result and a transcript.
Make a free callWhat to include in your request
The office's number, the name the appointment is under, its current date and time, and two or three times that work for you. Say whether it can accept a new time or should only ask what's open.
What happens on the call
Phone Bud introduces itself as your assistant, explains the change, and reads back any time it agrees to. If nobody answers, it leaves a short voicemail with your request.
What you get back
A summary with the result, any new date and time, and the full transcript.
Limits
Some offices only make changes with the patient or account holder on the line, or ask for a date of birth or health number. Include those only if you're comfortable sharing them on the call. If they ask about fees or policies you didn't cover, it says it will check with you. Calls come from a Phone Bud number, so include your own number if the office needs to call you back.
